Amber "danger to life" wind and snow warnings are now among the alerts in place as Storm Goretti is set to bring a mix of tough weather conditions this week.
Rain associated with Storm Goretti is set to turn to heavy snow from 8pm on Thursday, lasting until Friday morning for areas including parts of Wales, the Midlands and South Yorkshire.
