I’m very happy that I got a chance to see Bursa, a city overflowing with history from the Ottoman Empire. I learned a lot and got to see some amazing historical and cultural attractions, including:

I also got to try a local Turkish delicacy. Everyone I talked to told me I had to have an İskender Kebab when I went to Bursa. Wow! What an amazing Turkish food! I will be forever thankful to İskender Efendi for coming up with it!

About Bursa’s History:
Bursa has a rich history that dates back to ancient times. Initially known as Prusa, it was founded by the Bithynian King Prusias I in 202 BC, who named it after himself. The city's strategic location near the Sea of Marmara made it an important regional center in antiquity.
