No one can LOCK or FREEZE their home title.
The problem is that HOME TITLE LOCK is nothing more than a monitoring service, designed to report to you, AFTER THE FACT, that someone has done something that MIGHT affect your title.
SHOULD YOU PURCHASE HOME TITLE LOCK?
In my personal opinion, the answer is NO.
The prospect of title fraud is relatively low, and even if it happens, it is FRAUD. You would simply refuse to leave the property or pay the bills, and eventually, the fraudsters would have to PROVE that the signatures on the fraudulent documents were genuine. WHICH THEY ARE NOT!
I believe that title lock protection isn’t necessary.
If you’re truly worried about title fraud, you can just check those public records yourself each month instead of paying a third-party service to do that work for you.
