Brushes: 1/2 inch flat bristle (large), #4 round synthetic (small)
Acrylic Paint: titanium white, mars black, burnt umber (brown), green oxide, raw sienna (yellow), purple violet
Other: white chalk, palette, cup of water for washing brushes, paper towel for drying brushes

STEPS:
1. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint background with white, green and brown
2. Chalk – Draw outline of dragon and yarn balls
3. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint base coat of outlined sections with black, brown, white and yellow
4. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint bottom shadows with black, brown, tan (made in step 3) and yellow
5. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint yarn details on wing and chest with white and yellow
6. 1/2 inch bristle brush – Paint yarn details on dragon body with white and tan
7. #4 round brush – Paint facial features with black, yellow and white
8. #4 round brush – Paint knitting needles with purple, white and black
9. #4 round brush – Finish balls of yarn with black, brown, yellow, tan and white
10. #4 round brush – Finish bottom of wing and yarn on needles with yellow, white, black and brown
11. #4 round brush – Paint shadows of needles and string with black and brown
12. #4 round brush - Sign with black
