An overview of "The Greek New Testament, Fifth Revised Edition," by the United Bible Societies (commonly referred to as the UBS5). After a brief tour of the book, the video contains a discussion on how to use the textual apparatus. Textual variants in 1 Timothy 3.16 are examined (who was manifested, which was manifested, God was manifested). Then the video wraps up with a review of features that are new to the fifth edition.
In the video, I neglected to mention that the dictionary has also been improved. Words are cross referenced, and, for words that appear only once in the New Testament, the places they appear are listed (e.g., [Mt 15.39]).
