How To Create Podcasts with Your Computer | URC USB 3.0 Audio Interfaces

With Cubase and the UR22C audio interface, recording podcasts and mixing and mastering at home is simple. In this video, Dom Sigalas shows how the equipment in the UR22C recording pack - which includes the audio interface, Steinberg ST-M01 condenser microphone and ST-H01 headphones, plus Cubase AI, WaveLab LE and Cubasis LE software - can be set up with your Apple Macintosh or Windows PC computer. The UR22C has two high quality microphone preamps, plus phantom power for the condenser mic. You can set your levels using the dsp mix effect app mixer, make sure you have enough headroom; you can activate a low-cut filter and add DSP voice effects in the channel strip, morphing between EQ and compression settings for a high quality sound. The FX Record button lets you record the effects into the DAW software. Dom also looks at how to use a pop filter, then the recording and how to edit podcasts and share them.
