The Little Prince and the Eight-Headed Dragon (1963) is among the greatest animated movies of the 60s. So great, that its art style influenced the art style in media like Samurai Jack and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. If the art style isn't enough for it to be considered a gem, there's also the soundtrack Akira Ifukube put forward (psst, it's my #1 favorite soundtrack of his). One of the highlights of the second half of the soundtrack is Yamata no Orochi's theme. From the ominous and suspenseful soundscape of the "Waiting for Orochi" motif to the full-on menacing and bold Orochi theme itself.
