The Substance is an insane film, and features body horror and has a lot to say about body image, especially within Hollywood.

In this not-so-short video essay I break down the movie, and some of the themes around the substance. This features some deep and tough to watch topics, and body horror. I would highly recommend this for people who struggle with body image. This film explores what it's like to be stuck in a constant cycle of always wanting to look better, and doing anything to look better.

This film features Demi Moore, Margaret Qualley, and Dennis Quaid, who have some excellent performances within this film.
