We're digging a 50ft deep well by hand through tough ancient debris flow / glacial deposit material but with the help of an electric winch and a 2:1 rope hoist we're making progress.
We're above high water now, so let's make a bentonite seal, fill with sand and develop the well. We'll make a more efficient system to fill the hole faster and dig up some sand for more fill. We're running out of time before winter comes so I've started working at night to fill in the shaft and stay on schedule. Let's get to work!
