Cambodian sites of memory: Cambodian youth empowered for peace

As part of the Peace Education, Archives Preservation and Digitization, and Site Conservation for Youth Empowerment (PEACE) Project that aims to further develop the Cambodian Memorial Sites as a centre of excellence for peace education and global citizenship education, Cambodia’s U-18 national football team visited Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum to reflect on history and resilience.

PEACE Project is a five-year initiative, jointly implemented by Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum and UNESCO with generous support from Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). The project aims to empower Cambodian youth to connect with their heritage and envision a peaceful future together.
