Here's a video on how to install an additional hard drive to a Compaq Presario SR2002X (Windows XP operating system.) I also show how to format the drive. All the cables and the hard drive were purchased through amazon.
I bought the SATA cable for about $4 and the power cable adapter for about $2.50.
Note: If you plan on adding a hard drive to your computer make sure you have a free SATA port on your mother board, a free power plug, and of course make sure there is enough room in the case for the drive. If your computer doesn't have a free SATA power plug check to see if it has a free 4 pin molex instead. You can purchase an adapter if needed. I show what one looks like in the video.
