Bond Brief: Prop B 💻

As you may have heard, the North East ISD Board of Trustees has voted to call a bond election for the November 4th Uniform Election Date.

In this video, I will be sharing information about Proposition B; the second largest portion of the bond.

Proposition B focuses on replacing or upgrading technology across the district. This includes:
Replacing aging student devices, which are used for instruction and state-mandated testing
Replacing teachers’ computers and laptops used in the classroom
Computer upgrades for NEPD and Campus Security Staff
Equipment upgrades for campus office staff

Proposition B also includes upgrades to a number of district devices, such as
Classroom projectors
Audio and visual instructional devices
Teacher voice amplification systems

Additionally, Proposition B would upgrade student computer labs, primarily for our Career and Technical Education program offerings.
