The xenobiology deck called maintenance to fix a containment field.
They accidentally got a new station sport instead.
When Aiden arrives, the Krath’ix apex predator cubs are:
Chewing on furniture
Disassembling walls with their claws
Bouncing off every surface out of sheer boredom
The experts insist:
“They’re not pets. They’re ice-world hunters that can tear starship hulls apart.”
Aiden looks at them, looks at his wrench, and says the sentence that will haunt the station commander’s reports forever:

One throw later:
Alarms are blaring
Security thinks it’s a containment breach
