🔸Ingredients⁠ ⬇️⁠
2 lbs Rice Cakes
1 pk Samjin Assorted Fish Cake Soup Kit (H Mart 40th Anniversary Edition)
1 Onion, sliced
½ White Cabbage
1 pk White Mushrooms
5 ¼ oz Vermicelli Noodles
4 Korean Spicy Green Peppers
Roasted Sesame Seeds
3 Scallions, chopped
2 slices American Cheese

🔸Sauce ⬇️
4 tbsp Gochujang
3 tbsp Brown Sugar
2 tsp Gochugaru
1 tsp Garlic, minced


🔸Direction ⬇️
1. Mix all the sauce ingredients and let sit for a while.

2. Soak the rice cakes and vermicelli noodles in water for about 10 minutes.

3. Heat a pan over medium heat and coat with oil. Sauté the onions until they are cooked, then add the mushrooms and sauté for another 2-3 minutes.

4. Add water and then add the soup base from the fish cake soup package. Next, add all the fish cakes, cut into bite-sized pieces.

5. Once the broth starts boiling, add the prepared gochujang seasoning and mix well to dissolve it. Stir until the gochujang seasoning is fully incorporated, then add the soaked rice cakes and noodles and cook until the rice cakes and glass noodles have absorbed all the broth.

6. Lastly, add the white cabbage and Korean spicy green peppers, and mix thoroughly. Cook for a couple more minutes. Plate the dish, then top with cheese and sprinkle green onions and sesame seeds to finish.
