● The new New Year’s Eve Ball, called The Constellation Ball, was unveiled in November 2025. It is the ninth iteration of the Ball since its debut 1907. Measuring 12.5 feet in diameter and weighing 12,350 pounds, it is the largest Ball yet.
● The New Year’s Eve Ball is covered in a total of 5,280 Waterford crystals—nearly double the amount of crystals as the previous Ball. Crystals on the Ball are three different sizes: 1.5-inch, 3-inch, and 4-inch in diameter.
