In this prequel scenario, heretic forces have taken over Lucion Reach station, using infiltration and subterfuge. This vital space station is the primary resupply, repair, and rearming depot for the Astreon Sector's Battlefleet. The Ninth Coil of the Emerald Serpents have been sent to deal with the traitors, and secure the station so Battlefleet Astreon can return to their primary depot and aid in restoring order to the beleaguered Sector. Gravius, at this time only a Sergeant of a Hellblaster squad, is part of the initial reconnaissance force.
