Big Southerly weather system came through mid summer bringing strong gusty and cold(er) winds to Sydney. Got out on the smallest gear I have; 3.4m wave sail on the 114 slingshot and the the biggest race gear I’ve got on the Sunday. The big foil glide sail doesn’t work overpowered. Great for low end but as soon as it max’s out it’s all over the place unlike the HyperGlides which hold their shape whatever is thrown at them. Didn’t lock in and max through speed because of this only making 20.7knots.
