GV. Leading group of horses making towards hurdle during Czechoslovak steeplechase. GV. Leading horses approaching taxis ditch, first horse clears it followed by five other horses - none of which clears it. They are followed by five more horses. GV. Pan, horses clearing moderate fences in open country, two of them very close together. AS. Spectators looking through binoculars. SV. Water ditch as horse jumps, another starts to take it, another horse, "Unkas" appears and refuses to jump despite his rider's efforts. Rider starts to turn him round to try again. CU. Laughing spectators. SV. "Unkas" turns round, runs at it and refuses to jump again. GV. Horses coming to water ditch. GV. Another horse comes to the water, falls in, and gets to his feet. GV. Soviet horse "Epigraf" coming down straight to pass the winning post. SCU. Winning horse & jockey.
