At the 40th running of the Canadian Open Dog Sled Race in Fort
Nelson BC - dedicated and determined dogs battle through the frigid
cold and snow. Together with their mushers, they sprint the 15 miles
to the finish and the more than $40,000 in prize money. All the major
competitors from across North America are taking place in this race
of speed and endurance. But mostly it's the heart and determination
of the canine athletes that decides who, in the end, will be the top
dogs.
