As Mazda's first Plug-In Hybrid SUV, the 2024 #MazdaCX90PHEV drops the charismatic 3.3L turbo I-6 engine from the regular #CX90 and replaces it with a 2.5L 4-cylinder plus a powerful electric motor with a 17.8 kWh battery pack providing the juice. The result is about 26 of electric only range and nearly the same power as the I-6 powertrain. #Mazda is looking to further push the #CX90PHEV upmarket and this new plug-in hybrid version improves on the formula.
