In tribute to the brave individuals from Potter County, Pennsylvania, who courageously took on the perilous duty of preserving the Union of the United States, I created this musical suite.
The piece opens with a serene depiction of pre-Civil War Potter County, evolving into a portrayal of the region's burgeoning industry and community spirit, and ultimately leading to the grim realities of the American Civil War.
The narration was written and narrated by Paul W. Heimel
