Harmonograph is a wonder machine that can draw intricate shapes. In this video I will show how I made such a device and, of course, what happened in the end. It is quite possible to make a harmonograph with your own hands. Parts will need the bare minimum.
The most important part of the harmonograph is the motors. They should be powerful enough and not too high-speed. I used motors from an old printer, and they do a pretty good job. The basis for the harmonograph I made of fiberboard, made of the same material and eccentric. The whole dynamic system of harmonograph made from thin reechek. The pen holder I also decided to make a MDF - glued some of the same pieces and drill a hole equal to the diameter of the handle.
The harmonograph test was very successful! He, as planned, paints a beautiful intricate shapes and to observe the process of drawing is possible as it seems, all eternity.
