Henry and I (his Dad) go for frequent walks around the neighborhood. I started teaching him what each of the car logos meant, and he picked it up quickly. From there, we printed some flash cards to help him learn, and he learned so fast I printed every car brand I could think of.

This actually isn't a result of repeated drilling or anything so sinister, this is about his 6th or 7th time running through all of these at the most (and his 3rd time running through the tech brands). He is hyperlexic, and really loves his letters and numbers. He learned to read before his was three, and is long beyond sight words and into full reading. He can do the full alphabet backwards faster than I can do it forwards. He can count to 350 (the highest we've gone, I'm sure he could keep going), and can do basic arithmetic. He can count to 10 in spanish, french, and German. He can navigate a cellphone, texting and calling people he wants to speak to, googling or wiki'ing things that he wants to learn about (I found "poop" open on my browser once). The most surprising thing to us when he learned the Cyrillic alphabet on his own from watching YouTube videos...he knew the whole thing before we found out!!!
