Dr. Sanjay Mukhopadhyay is a medical doctor with 18 years of experience (lung pathologist = pulmonary pathologist = thoracic pathologist) in Cleveland, Ohio (USA). He diagnoses lung diseases such as lung cancer, mesothelioma, infections and interstitial lung disease by examining tissue samples with a microscope. He is the author of two well-regarded textbooks of thoracic pathology. One covers non-neoplastic lung pathology and was published by Cambridge University Press in 2016. The other covers all of thoracic pathology and was co-authored with Dr. Matthew Cecchini in 2023.
