The yoga you’re practising in studios in the west is mostly watered down BS sold to you by sexual predators and narcs like bikram and Pattabhi jois. And yes it’s difficult to find pure lineages, as with other mystery school teachings. So much has been stolen from us and distorted.
I try not to judge people too harshly (unless they are actively causing harm), as we are all learning, but we also need to be able to speak the truth and say things as we see them.
