During the last sitting week in Parliament, I spoke on the Crimes and Other Legislation Amendment (Omnibus No.1) Bill 2024.
This Bill will update existing legislation to address the way modern criminals conduct their business. It also makes a number of amendments to certain crime related provisions in some Commonwealth Acts such as, the Crimes Act 1914 and the Telecommunications Act 1997.
