Social influence is the process of changing or impacting others' attitudes and behaviors. It includes the ways we are affected by others and can happen even when they are not physically present. Social influence can be bidirectional, with both individuals and groups influencing each other. Majority influence refers to the larger group's influence on the smaller group, while minority influence refers to the smaller subgroup's attempt to change the larger subgroup. People's reactions to influence vary based on their unique characteristics and the situation.
