About this video: The Millennium Monument located at Wooton, Mauritius was constructed by the Ministry of Arts and Culture (under Joseph Tsang Mang Kin) to celebrate the passage of the Republic of Mauritius into the third millennium, in the year 1999. Every detail of the monument was designed by the architect, painter and philanthropist Marcel Wisdom. It was inauguarated on 31 December 1999 (Ref. lexpress.mu).
