Sluicing Gold, South Umpqua River. Southern Oregon Gold Prospecting.

Join us on this South Umpqua River Oregon adventure while we sluice for gold and classify buckets to run at home. Everyone finds gold! We also have some special guests and equipment demonstrations by the manufacturer. This is a large group meet up celebrating the opening of a new prospecting store near Portland Oregon in Beaverton Oregon. The store is called Prospectors Treasure Trove. 10400 SW Allen Blvd Beaverton Oregon. The owner Dan Rouse gives a basic introduction of the store. The Gold-N-Sand X-Stream Hybrid (hand pump with bucket) is demonstrated by Cash Best the manufacturer and distributor. We also have Mike Pung (inventor of the Gold Cube) helping out with the demonstration. We also catch a glimpse of Dakota Fred of the Gold Rush Series, I didn't get around to interviewing him though. We do however walk around and check what others are doing, classifying, sluicing and even a recirculating Gold Cube. The adventure ends with a decent weigh up of beautiful placer gold.
