This video took forever to create—seriously. Ironically, printing all the parts was the fastest step in the process! What started as a random idea turned into an incredible prop that was immensely appreciated at FSWeekend.
The project? Overengineering the 737's windows. This little escapade proved that you don’t need woodworking wizardry to achieve outstanding results. But it does take time. In my case, it took a whole weekend at the unit, surviving on coffee and determination, while I swapped parts on the printer for 48 hours straight. At 3:45 AM on Sunday, when that final piece was ready, I collapsed into bed exhausted—but happy.
This came out fantastic for a last-minute idea. As Bram insisted that I build the unit specifically for the expo, it was incredibly worthwhile.
