Philips AZ-6801 Ultra Rare Portable CD Player

This is a extremely nice sounding CD player from Philips which can drive the most demanding, the most power hungry cans on the planet. I've had other Philips CD players and all of them had decent and powerful outputs. However, the balanced sound and rich base reproduction can only be matched with Marantz portable CD players. Yet, Marantz and Philips have a lot in common anyway. The CD player is playing Dire Straits "On Every Street" through a pair of Sony SRS-11 active loudspeakers.
