Mullaghmore, Ireland just delivered one of the heaviest swells the North Atlantic has seen in years.
This session pushed the limits of both paddle surfing and tow surfing, drawing the world’s best big wave surfers to one of the most dangerous slabs on the planet. While many angles captured the scale from land and air, this episode was filmed from the water, offering a rare, immersive perspective inside the lineup.
Shot by Maria Fernanda, this footage places you shoulder-to-shoulder with the jetskis, water photographers, and surfers navigating a lineup where timing, positioning, and consequences are everything. From deep barrels to chaotic channel moments, this is Mullaghmore as it’s experienced — not observed.

Irish charger Conor Maguire described the conditions as “pretty much as good as it gets,” during a historic run of back-to-back North Atlantic swells that also lit up Nazaré and Punta Galea. While not officially the biggest day on record, many surfers called this one of the most intense and memorable sessions in recent memory.
This video showcases some truly impressive big wave surfing, capturing the sheer power of the ocean. Watch as surfers take on massive waves, demonstrating incredible skill and courage in conditions that demand respect. It's a testament to the thrill of the sport and the relentless force of the swell.
