This is an n-body simulation of the solar system configuration in Novasilisko's Alternis Kerbol mod for Kerbal Space Program. The simulation runs for 600 Ms (about 19 years). There are a number of collisions in the Jool system, which the simulation logs but otherwise doesn't do anything about. I don't show the outer system (Eeloo, and most of the comets' orbits) because nothing interesting happens out there during the simulation!
The simulation was performed using Dormand and Prince's RK5(4)-7M embedded Runge Kutta scheme, and at the end of the simulation the relative energy error was 5E-11, the relative linear momentum error was 2E-11, and the relative angular momentum error was 2E-10 for the system. I've made the program I used to do this simulation available here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/39mi6hqq3ve...
The exact parameters used to start the simulation are a little unclear for v0.0 of Alternis Kerbol; see the thread in the KSP forum for details. I did not attempt to make any correction regarding the barycenter for setting up the initial orbits from the Kepler orbital elements.
