Summer is my absolute favorite season, so I thought I’d do a little celebrating by dyeing my hair a fun pastel color for summer 2016! I wanted to dye my hair a silver lavender color without using any more bleach than I already had in my hair, so instead of just using purple, I mixed Manic Panic Blue Steel with a little bit of Manic Panic Purple Haze. I got the idea from a pin I found on Pinterest (mixing Manic Panic Blue Haze with a small amount of another color). Since Purple Haze is a bit of a warmer purple than the Electric Amethyst or Ultra Violet, I figured that it would fade into a nice pastel pink hue on my blonde hair as it washes out. My hair isn’t all one color, so it turned out more of a lavender ombre instead, but I really like the end result and hope you enjoy this lavender hair dye tutorial/lavender manic panic demo and review. I filmed this video a little bit differently than my others (by including a tiny bit of a talking portion) and really love how it turned out. Fingers crossed that you love it too. Enjoy!

A little bit about me - I'm a content creator on Instagram, YouTube, and on my blog at AudrieStorme.com living in Orange County, California (originally from the San Francisco Bay Area). I started posting outfit of the day (OOTD) photos on Instagram about two years ago when I was living in Dallas, Texas for work. I loved taking photos and posting on Instagram so much that I decided to expand and try out YouTube and blogging as well.

When I was living in the city, my personal style was a bit more streetwear 90's grunge, but now that I live in Southern California and closer to the ocean, my style has become a lot more cozy and comfortable with a lot of bohemian influences.

If I had to describe my fashion sense on my blog, Instagram aesthetic, and YouTube editing style now, I'd probably describe it as modern bohemian with an edge since I tend to wear and do things that might be considered unconventional to others. I'm not sure if that is true, but since I've moved back to California, I just find that I gravitate to what is easiest and effortless for me while living near the beach where it always feels like summer.
