In this video, I go through the complete process of changing both the front and rear sprocket and replacing the chain.
This method may work on other makes or models, but the video is specifically for the model of bike in the video, so results/methods may vary.
As always, if you are unsure, seek the help/advice of a professional.
I run through the tools required and how to use them, including chain-splitter/riveter, torque wrenches and vernier calipers.
I show how to split the chain using a chain splitting tool and how to fit the new chain, correctly press on the master link front plate and how to correctly rivet the master link.
I also explain how to correctly adjust the chain tensioners to ensure the rear wheel is straight and the chain is correctly adjusted.
