Today I took the Chandragiri Cable Car for an unforgettable ride high above Kathmandu — and let me tell you, the views were insane! 🚡⛰️🇳🇵
I paid Rs. 820 (about $6.15 USD) for a round-trip ticket, and it took me through beautiful forested hills all the way up to Chandragiri Hill, one of the best viewpoints near the city.
At the top, there’s a peaceful Hindu temple, food stalls, open spaces to relax, and some of the clearest views of the Kathmandu Valley — and even the Himalayas, if you’re lucky.
If you’re visiting Nepal, this is definitely one of the best experiences near Kathmandu — peaceful, scenic, and worth every rupee.
