Festival of the Holidays, Muppet Coaster Begins & Zootopia 2 Dominates the Box Office: This Week

This week, December 3, 2025, Greg kicks things off at EPCOT for the opening of the Festival of the Holidays. Between the storytellers, Scentsy installations, and returning favorites, he even stumbles into a brand-new Walt Disney opening message.. We also take a look at Santa Goofy, explore Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition, and check out this year’s special festival Magic Shots.

Greg then heads to Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, where the atmosphere, entertainment, and treats mark another strong season of holiday celebration.

Back in the news, the change many have expected is now official: Aerosmith has been removed from Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster, and the Muppets transformation has begun. From pre-show to storyline hints, the coaster is entering its next era.

At the movies, Zootopia 2 is on fire at the box office, continuing its record-setting pace. On the West Coast, Disneyland releases new Bluey details and recaps everything planned for 2026, giving fans a lot to look forward to. This week also brings an update on a festive surprise tied to “Fragile” at the Swan and Dolphin, changes coming to the D23 Quarterly Magazine, and everyone asking: What exactly is Kermit doing in Atlanta?

Popcorn buckets continue to roll out across the parks, including a new Avatar-themed bucket ahead of the Fire & Ash release. And as always, it wouldn’t be a Wednesday without another Muppet moment on the show.
