DC Comics’ Craziest Superhero

In all of comic book superheroes, there have to be some, even among giants like Marvel and DC, that fall into obscurity or end up too weird for the mainstream audience.

This is where the superhero team Section 8 comes in- lead by the bumbling and unkempt hero Six-Pack, this highly incompetent team of heroes consists of weirdos such as Baynor, Guts, Power Tool, Flemgem, and most importantly- Dogwelder.

These heroes are not only bad at their jobs- they more often than not make the lives of other heroes a massive headache- but by golly their heroes at heart and they'll do whatever it takes to make the world (slightly) better (as long as it doesn't take much effort)!

Section 8 resides primarily within and around Gotham city, having the occasional run-in with batman, the caped crusader as well as Hal Jordan of the Green Lantern Corps, and even Superman on several occasions- and every interaction has gone absolutely terribly.

While Section 8’s heroes have been largely useless in most of their endeavors, that all changes when Dogwelder’s powers become the key to saving the universe.

This story mostly encompasses the Six Pack and Dog Welder: Hard Travelin' Heroes, written by Garth Ennis, who also wrote the comic The Boys.
