Some Disney remakes are different than others! In this episode, I look at Mark Mancina's wonderful arrangement for "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" and the subsequent versions to explain how Disney updates their music.

Something I want to note is that while Mark Mancina made the arrangement for the 1994 version, there were others involved in the adaption and creation of the Broadway musical (I did not include this in the video because I have yet to find any definitive statement on who did what): Robert Elhai, David Metzger, Hans Zimmer, and Bruce Fowler. The latter two were also brought back on in addition to Mancina to work on the 2019 soundtrack.
