On April 5, 2018, Alice Hungerford and 16 of her friends had a tea party in an active logging coupe (RD016B) in Tasmania. The workers stopped work for the afternoon, and the grey nomads said goodbye to what was a beautiful pristine wilderness just a few days before.
Alice Hungerford is the author of "Upriver", a chronicle of pioneers who helped save Tasmania's Franklin River from being dammed, a non-violent action which involved over 1600 arrests and over 600 protesters sent to jail.
