받침은 외국어로서 한글을 배울 때 만나는 첫 번째 어려운 관문 중의 하나라고 할 수 있습니다. 한글에서 받침으로 쓰이는 자음은 총 27개 입니다. 그렇지만 이 받침들은 7개의 대표 발음으로만 소리가 납니다. 그리고 두개의 자음이 어우러져 만들어진 겹받침의 경우에는 두개의 자음 중 자음 하나만이 소리가 납니다. 뿐만 아니라 이런 겹자음도 각 겹자음 마다 소리를 내는 규칙이 다르고 많은 경우 예외 조항도 있습니다. 해결 방법은 반복 학습입니다. 매일 10분 씩 시간을 할애해서 단어 공부를 하도록 아이들을 격려해 주세요.
