When Prachanda almost became a DICTATOR

In 2009, Prachanda became one of the most powerful PM in recent Nepal History. This was a very confusing equation because the Nepal Army had been fighting with maoist for years and suddenly they found themselves working together.
Prachanda fired the Army Chief, Rookmangud Katwal which the President rejected. Was Prachanda trying to become a dictator or was he just clearing way to implement his idea of new Nepal? And what led to the fallout between two of the most powerful man in Nepal?
