Marking our first release as a label, ‘Hesitation’ journeys through the organic, heavenly melodics of 90’s jungle and intelligent drum & bass, all the while keeping up with modern sound design and processing techniques to create a hard-hitting fusion of different eras. Maxxumus introduces lush synth pads, bright melodies, and that catchy vocal; before bursting into a hive of crisp, intricate drum-work and a creeping, weighty and ever-so-silly bassline. Despite the track title, the track refuses to stop evolving, melting into a chilled breakdown before returning in full force with wicked, sub-heavy basses and echoing vocals.
