Trump Tariff Threat LIVE: China Ready to Buy More Goods from India | Vantage with Palki Sharma | N18G

Ahead of Trump's April 2 deadline, Chinese President Xi Jinping said China and India should work more closely together. Marking 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations, Xi said China and India's relationship should take the form of a "Dragon-Elephant tango" - a dance between their emblematic animals.
Earlier, Beijing’s Ambassador to India Xu Feihong also expressed interest in buying more Indian products to balance trade.
"We are willing to work with the Indian side to strengthen practical cooperation in trade and other areas, and to import more Indian products that are well-suited to the Chinese market,” Feihong told China’s state-run Global Times on Monday (March 31).
Both the south Asian giants are expected to be under Trump's tariff threats.
The US already levied 20% tariffs on China. In response, China imposed 15% tariffs.
Relations between India and China have soured since the Galwan Valley clash in 2020.
However, the recent developments might signal a de-escalation of their diplomatic standoffs.
