Abstinence Isn't for Everyone

Hey y’all, it’s Sade! So, the other day I was talking with a friend and she said, “You’d be surprised by how many people aren’t abstinent.” And honestly, I wasn’t surprised. It reminded me of something I used to hear all the time when I first started this journey: “Abstinence isn’t for everyone.”

That phrase used to hit hard. It made me question if I was doing too much or if something was wrong with me for wanting to wait. But after 13 years of walking this path, I’ve come to understand a few things, not just about abstinence, but about healing, shame, sex, and God’s grace.

This video is for the woman who’s trying to honor God with her body, even when it feels isolating. The one who’s been called “too deep” or made to feel like her standards are the problem. You are not alone, and you’re not crazy for wanting something different.
