The forecast called for a front to move in with potentially severe storms between 5 and 6 PM. Prior to the front NE winds were to build to 30 knots. I worked until 3:30, which made for a tight window to paddle. After blowing out of work we were on the water by 4:15, which gave us just enough for a quick 9K run before the weather went bad. I find that on video large broad waves look to be moving in slo-mo, it didn’t feel like that on the water! 😹
