This is the second part of a complete acoustic guitar setup where you will learn how to get the very best out of a cheap or expensive acoustic guitar. In the previous video we learned how to inspect the neck of your guitar and then adjust the curve of your guitar neck or the neck relief using the truss rod so you can get the lowest action possible for your guitar. Sometimes lowering the action of your guitar can cause the guitar to buzz when you play certain frets. This is called fret buzz and it is caused because the frets need to be levelled. In this video you will learn how to locate the frets that are causing the problems and how to repair any buzzing frets by levelling the frets on any guitar you might have, so that your guitar can sound its best. This is a very useful skill to learn and at some time in your guitar playing courier you will need to repair a buzzing fret or buzzing frets.

Buzzing frets can ruin a perfectly good guitar and yet it is relatively easy to correct. The same techniques used here can be used on any electric or acoustic guitar. By fixing the buzzing frets on a guitar you can take a cheap sounding guitar and make the tone clear and ringing.
