Ryding has had many roles before landing the part of the reluctant prince in Young Royals, with previous credits including Gåsmamman, Miss Frimans War and Love me. Ryding is currently 19 years old, making him the youngest among the cast. He was born on February 4, 2003 in Stockholm, Sweden. He began performing at the age of six and has since been in numerous Swedish shows and films. Even at such a young age, he has performed voice acting for several American shows and films in Swedish. Frida Argento as Sara Eriksson

Frida Argento portrays Simon’s sister Sara Eriksson, who is on the spectrum and in season two appears to become attracted to August, even though he’s the cause of so much pain for her family. Frida is now 22 years old. She was born on January 30, 2000, in Stockholm, Sweden. Before landing the role in Young Royals, Argento starred in the short film Astrid and the TV series Riding in Darkness. She had actually relocated to Barcelona and worked in customer service before being cast in Young Royals.

Taking on the part of antagonist and Wilhelm’s second cousin August of Årnäs is actor Malte Gårdinger.
