This is my orchestral arrangement of "Compression of Time" from Final Fantasy 8, originally composed by Nobuo Uematsu. The theme is undoubtedly one of the most haunting themes in FF8, or perhaps, the entire series. The original track is actually quite simplistic and stark, so I wanted to try to capture its subtle grace, while making it more complex and varied, using over half of the instruments in a standard orchestra, as opposed to the 5 midi instruments in the original song.
