06 I CAN'T EVER CHANGE YOUR LOVE FOR ME / 角松敏生 (Toshiki Kadomatsu) & 杏里 (Anri)

"I CAN'T EVER CHANGE YOUR LOVE FOR ME" is the fourth track on the A side of Anri's seventh original album "COOOL". It was released on June 21, 1984 by Forlife Records.

For Anri, this album was the final album in the "Kadomatsu Trilogy (『Heaven Beach』『Bi・Ki・Ni』『Timely!!』 『COOOL』)" produced by Toshio Kadomatsu following the huge success of her previous album "Timely!!". Recording took place in Los Angeles, and many famous local musicians participated in the performance, and the overall sound reflects the open atmosphere of the West Coast.

This song was included as the third track on side A of Toshio Kadomatsu's first self-cover album, ”The geentle sex,'' released on January 19, 2000. This work is Toshio Kadomatsu's first self-cover album as a singer, singing the many "female hearts" that he has provided to female artists. Since then, a total of six self-cover albums have been released up to 2020.

「I CAN'T EVER CHANGE YOUR LOVE FOR ME」は、杏里の7枚目のオリジナル・アルバム『COOOL』（クール）のA面4曲目の収録曲。1984年6月21日にフォーライフ・レコードからリリースされた。

杏里にとってこのアルバムは前作『Timely!!』の大ヒットを受け、引き続き角松敏生によるプロデュースで制作された"角松3部作（『Heaven Beach』『Bi・Ki・Ni』『Timely!!』 『COOOL』）"のラストを飾るアルバムだった。レコーディングはロサンゼルスで行われ、演奏には現地の有名ミュージシャンが多数参加しており、全体的にウェスト・コーストの開放的な雰囲気がサウンドに反映された作品となっている。

2000年1月19日に発売された角松敏生通算1作目のセルフカバー・アルバム『The gentle sex』（ザ・ジェントル・セックス）のA面3曲目に収録。同作は角松敏生がこれまで女性アーティストに提供してきた数々の“女心”を、シンガーとして歌い上げた初めてのセルフカバー・アルバム。これ以降、 2020年までにセルフカバー・アルバムは合計6作発表されている。
